Approach
Our approach
At FitzMe, it is all about the fitness of both employees and the organization they work for. We choose a positive approach to health. We believe in investing in people when they are most resilient, focusing on prevention. However, if absenteeism is imminent, we can also intervene.
The FitzMe model
- Self-management and sustainable behavioral change
- Step by step towards new healthy behavior
- Connecting the right steps at the right moments
Self-management and sustainable behavioral change are central to positively influencing employee vitality. The phases of behavioral change shown in the inner circle of the model are important for this. The environment, and therefore the organization, contributes significantly to this, as we demonstrate in the outer circle.
Integrated approach with programs
We always connect the results of conducted studies to arrive at the right advice.
The FitzMe portal is therefore a logical choice as a starting and landing base. The portal mobilizes employees to work on a healthy lifestyle, for example by participating in workshops, training sessions, or challenges that align with their personal goals. It is important that personal interventions for employees and organizational policy are aligned and implemented at the right time. And preferably as part of an integrated approach.
Then the circle is complete.
The employee takes small, lasting steps.
Sustainable behavioral change happens in small steps. With our services, we always start by stimulating awareness among employees, so that they are open to healthy behavioral change. This can be done, for example, through a HealthCheck, but also potentially with a stimulating webinar. Subsequently, your employee sets a goal (whether or not in consultation with a coach), and a choice can be made regarding where to start. 'Willingness' and 'ability' are central here, because it will only work if it suits the employee. We will always start small, because behavior is also simply about doing. And when you are successful at 'keeping doing it', they become (healthy) habits.
Our approach works!
